In December 2016, GCS Agile officially became a GODAN Partner. GODAN (Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition) supports the proactive sharing of open data to make information about agriculture and nutrition available, accessible and usable to deal with the urgent challenge of ensuring world food security.
GCS Agile is one of only four GODAN partners in Australia. Through this partnership, our researchers and data scientists will participate in GODAN Activities and Working Groups to collaborate and share ideas, experiences and ways forward on how open data can be used to solve key issues and challenges in the agriculture and nutrition sectors.
